Delivery and Returns

Delivery to the UK

We offer FREE delivery on all items over £100 to all UK addresses.

All parcels will be sent Special Delivery Signed For which is guaranteed.  These items will require a signature and be signed for in person.  An instruction card will be left for re-delivery if nobody is available.

For orders under £100 there will be a charge of £3.99 for a Royal Mail Track & Trace service.  This can take up to 5 days.  Alternatively, a charge of £7.99 for Special Delivery Signed For which is a next day service.

If you place an order on Friday after 3pm or over the weekend, your item will usually be posted out on Tuesday. 

All orders are subject to availability.

Apologies, but we do not deliver any orders to P.O. Box addresses.

We aim to send out your order very quickly, however occasionally items on our website may sell in our Lewes shop.  We will contact you in this instance as soon as possible, to confirm the availability date, if it is a new item.  

If your item requires re-sizing or altering in any way it will take longer, usually up to 2 weeks (longer for European and international destinations), so please bear this in mind when placing an order.  If you need an item delivered faster, please do contact us and we will do our best to help.

 

Delivery to Europe and Internationally

We offer purchase of any of our items on our website internationally up to the value of £1,000.

For delivery to Europe and International countries there is a charge of £35.  Your item will be sent by Airsure Royal Mail Tracked & Signed which is an insured postal service.  This usually takes up to 7 working days to arrive.  However, please note that any item you purchase which requires re-sizing or altering in any way will take longer, usually up to 14 working days.

On all international orders, the customer is responsible for all duties costs, any taxes or tariffs that may be incurred.  Please contact your local customs office for further information before you place an order as we have no control over these charges. 

Certain restrictions on some of our items that we sell on our website and in our shop will apply to your country.  It is your responsibility to make sure that any item you purchase from us is permitted for you to receive, and meets with the relevant laws and regulations of your country.

We are unable to post items to Africa, Brazil, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Israel, Lithuania, Pakistan, Republic of Georgia, Russia, South Africa, Turkey, Singapore and UAE.

Deliveries outside of the UK may be subject to customs charges, delays or restrictions, and Marston Barrett Ltd cannot be held responsible for any liabilities or costs once your item has left the UK.

Returns Information

We do hope that you are happy with your order and we welcome any feedback on our service to you.  However, if you are not satisfied with your item and wish to exchange or return it, please email or telephone us as soon as you can, within 7 days of receiving your order, and we will endeavour to help.

Any items which have not been worn or damaged in any way and are in their original condition may be returned to us in the original box and packaging within 14 days from the date you received your item.  

Upon receipt of your item please check it thoroughly, but if for some reason you have received any faulty items, please contact us to arrange a replacement item to be sent out to you.

We do not accept any items which have been placed which are special orders, and for hygiene purposes we do not accept any Earring returns unless they are faulty or damaged.

We would kindly recommend returning the item at your expense via Special Delivery Signed For within the UK and Signed For / FedEx from European and International destinations, as we cannot accept any liability or charges for items which are lost or damaged before they reach our shop in Lewes.  We are also not responsible for any charges or customs taxes if you return an item to us before it reaches the UK and our shop in Lewes.

Any relevant import duties which are not our responsibility, will be deducted from the refund amount, should you wish to return an item to us. 

International customs duties and sale taxes are NOT refunded for deliveries outside the EU.

Refunds will be given if the item is returned in its original condition.   Refunds will usually be credited to you within 21 days (excluding any postage charges).
