Diamond Brooch in Platinum - Secondhand
An early twentieth century eighty-nine stone old mixed cut diamond brooch in platinum with a pin and rollover safety clasp. Comprising a central oval section with the three principal diamonds with single cut diamond accents around them (fourteen in total). Above and below is a row of 6 old brilliant cut diamonds with a single cut diamond at each end. Either side is an openwork setting with a central graduating row of six diamonds (five old brilliant and one old swiss cut) surrounded by a border of twenty two diamonds (old brilliant and swiss cut). All the diamonds are grain set with a millegrain edge.
