Diamond Victorian Brooch - Secondhand

A Victorian fifty four stone old cut diamond brooch in silver and gold with a pin and rollover safety catch.  Comprising a central cross motif with an old brilliant cut diamond with  four old swiss cut diamonds around it all box collet set. This is surrounded by a quatrefoil border grain set with twenty old swiss cut diamonds. This has a diamond at compass points around it (NE, SE, SW, NW) again box collet set as before.  There is an oval  outer border with a diamond at compass points around the centre (N, S, E, W) and five old swiss cut diamonds between each all grain set.  All the settings are in silver with a yellow gold back.

Diamonds 1 @ 3.60mm, weighing 0.17ct 

8 @ 2.50mm, weighing 0.06ct each

44 @ 1.60 - 2.00mm, weighing 0.02 - 0.03ct 

Total diamond weight estimated as weighing 2.00ct

Size: 33.00 x 29.00mm

Unstamped. Tested as silver and 18ct gold.
