Ruby & 9ct Gold 1950's Brooch & Earring Suite - Secondhand

A 1950's ruby and 9ct gold suite comprising a brooch and earrings in a palm tree design in a Garrard fitted case.

The brooch is in a palm tree design with eight round cabochon cut rubies claw set amongst the leaves and a further four square faceted rubies rubover set into the trunk.  

Size: 48.00 x 34.00mm 

Rubies 8 @ 2.30 x 2.30mm each and 4 @ 2.4 x 2.40 - 2.80 x 2.40mm each

The earrings are comprised of the centre of the palm tree with five leaves to one side and claw set with six round cabochon cut rubies. They have clip fittings.
